We believe that by (R.U.E) rebirthing, uniting, and evolving one family at a time, we can change the trajectory of Black America. Our goals encompass promoting home ownership, land stewardship, food justice, enhanced education, holistic well-being, self-sufficiency, community empowerment, and economic empowerment. Our initiatives and activities are designed to catalyze true transformation. But above all, passion is at the heart and soul of everything we do. We see a future where the possibilities and perceptions of living and being for the Black Family are transformed. Our vision includes ecologically and economically sustainable communities across the nation that empower Black Families. These communities provide a wide range of resources and programs to build generational wealth, foster self-sufficiency, and promote holistic health.

Crysta Yakubu
Founder/ Visionary/ Storyteller
Crysta Yakubu , a remarkable individual, is a force to be reckoned with ! She exudes charisma and passion in everything she does, captivating those around her with her unwavering determination and creativity. Crysta possesses a remarkable talent for public affairs and customer service communication. She excels in the art of conveying information in a clear and engaging manner. Her adeptness at building strong relationships and resolving issues with finesse has earned her a reputation as a trusted and effective communicator. With a keen understanding of the intricacies of public relations and customer interactions, she consistently navigate challenges with poise and professionalism, ensuring positive outcomes and satisfied stakeholders. Crysta always leaves a lasting impression, inspiring others to follow in her footsteps. Her journey is a testament to the power of dedication, and we can’t wait to see what incredible feats lie ahead for her !
Todd L. Brown
Consultant
Dr. Todd Brown is an Environmental Psychologist with a background in architecture. His research focuses on the relationship between critical race theory and the built environment. He explores how architecture and physical spaces are perceived in terms of race and other social factors. His dissertation delved into how environmental cues influence people’s perception of urban spaces. Dr. Brown has published scholarly works on psychosocial perception, race, social justice, architecture, and urban design.
In addition to his research, he has been involved in national design competitions and worked as a research consultant in various fields including architecture, education, environmental psychology, urban planning, and public health.
Dr. Brown’s interdisciplinary expertise has led him to teach in diverse programs, including environmental health sciences, psychology, urban studies, and architecture at various institutions. He also served as the Race and Gender in the Built Environment Fellow at the University of Texas at Austin School of Architecture.
His educational background includes degrees from the University of Illinois at Chicago (BA, MPH, MArch) and the CUNY Graduate Center (MA, MPhil, PhD). Dr. Brown has also conducted architectural studies internationally in Mexico, Germany, and Spain.
Malaya Ekokobe

Malaya Ekokobe, at the youthful age of 19, is a versatile and imaginative individual with a passion for creativity that knows no bounds. Her artistic pursuits span a wide spectrum, from the written word to the intricate world of fine arts.
Her academic journey has been nothing short of remarkable. Graduating from Early College High School with an Associate’s Degree in general art studies is a testament to her dedication and intellectual prowess. Malaya’s thirst for knowledge led her to embrace the challenge of dual credit courses, demonstrating her commitment to academic excellence.
Beyond her academic achievements, Malaya also played a significant role as Vice President of her high school’s Black Student Union. Her leadership and advocacy within the club showcased her dedication to creating an inclusive and diverse community within her school.
As Malaya continues to navigate through life’s adventures, there’s no doubt that her creativity and determination will lead her to remarkable accomplishments. She is a young talent with a bright future, and her passion for the arts and commitment to positive change are qualities that make her stand out.
